Design Your Bespoke Gluten Free Cake


A great bespoke Gluten Free cake is just 4 steps away!

 

Step 1 – Size

  • 6” – Standard 2 layer – Serves 6 – 8
  • 6” – Tall 3 layer – Serves 8 – 10
  • 8” – Standard 2 layer – Serves 10 – 12
  • 8” – Tall 3 layer – Serves 12 – 14
  • 9” – Standard 2 layer – Serves 14 – 16
  • 9” – Tall 3 layer – Serves 16 – 18

Some designs look nicer on a taller cake, others look better on a shorter flatter base.  2 tier cakes can look very striking especially when they have contrasting designs. If you have something in mind or if you have a theme, I am happy to chat to you about the different options.

 

Step 2 – Flavours

The cake flavours are :

  • Vanilla
  • Chocolate
  • Almond

The fillings are:

  • Strawberry Jam
  • Apricot Jam
  • Buttercream (Vanilla, Almond, Chocolate and Moccha)

My favourite decorated cakes would be a vanilla sponge with a strawberry jam and buttercream filling but they are all yummy!

 

Step 3 – Covering

You can cover your cake with fondant (and buttercream crumb coating), buttercream, leave it nude or show a sneaky peek (it’s quite trendy now to have a very thin layer of buttercream, so your cake is just visible).

 

Step 4 – Decoration

This is where your imagination (or mine if you’re stuck for ideas) can go wild.  You can always take a look at my previous cakes to get extra ideas.

Pricing

Every cake is bespoke so prices cannot be quoted in advance of knowing what you would like. However, the starting price for a standard 6″ 2 tier cake with no additional decoration is £20.
